Pensacola Police are continuing their investigation into an armed carjacking that occurred around 10:50 p.m. Saturday in the 5000 block of Bayou Boulevard.
Detective Joshua Hudson said two female employees were leaving work and walking to their cars when they were approached by two black males who demanded their keys at gunpoint. After getting keys from one of the victims, the suspects fled the scene in her 2010 black Pontiac G6.
One male was described as 16 to 20years old, approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and 160 to 170 pounds. He was wearing a hoodie and jeans and was holding a gun.
The second suspect was approximately 5 feet 9 to 5 feet 10, had a faded high-top hair style with a single horizontal line cut in the hair just above one ear, and was wearing a dark hoodie, and blue or black jogging pants.
The vehicle was recovered Sunday after it fled from a deputy and crashed into a tree near the intersection of Gulf Beach Highway and Paulding Avenue. Four male occupants ran from the vehicle but were captured and arrested. Information on that incident will have to be provided by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
